- Patrick Gray Review added: 2018.07.03★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've visited this pub several times over the past few year's I've been coming to Rye. It's a very cosy and relaxed pub tucked away behind the castle with great views across the marshes from the beer garden.
The ales are all well kept and with a good local selection, including Harvey's Best.
The food has been of consistently good quality and reasonable price.
The staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere in the pub is very friendly and low key. A true hidden gem!
